Let’s talk about Measles
– Measles was declared eliminated from the US in 2000
– Eliminated is “absence of continuous disease transmission for greater than 12 months”
– From January 1 to April 26, 2019, 704 individual cases of measles have been confirmed in 22 states.
Why?

The difference between SCIENCE and SCIENTISM rests in understanding one key thing: the answer to “WHY?” is mainly philosophical and philosophy is multilevel & systemic.
So…
1. Why measles was considered eliminated in the first place? 12 months of absence is elimination?

2. Anti-vaxxers! That’s the problem! And why citizens suddenly don’t trust vaccines? Just idiots? The same scientists, who declared measles eliminated (!), fail to understand why a parent would be afraid in 2019 to put state-sponsored substance to the blood of his baby?

3. The same guys, who labeled measles eliminated, also inform us that immigration is not the cause. It’s a myth by anti-vaxxers.
Yet a widespread GLOBAL increase in measles preceded the US incidents. Coincidence?

4. According to NYT current measles outbreak in US is linked to travellers from Israel (Orthodox Jewish). 5. So, again, why do we have a measles outbreak? Conservative religiously-inclined Anti-vaxxers! As if Big Pharma is a trustworthy enterprise in the first place. The World Health Organisation has announced another main factor: POVERTY in a global level.

6. NOTE: If you search “Big Pharma” in Google the first result is a Wikipedia article on “Big Pharma conspiracy theory”. Big Pharma… is a … conspiracy theory. Let that sink for a minute. Rational Wiki (the BS skeptics) also put it in the “conspiracy” section.

7. The solution? Germans… being Germans.

what’s your point exactly? that it’s ok to be against vaccines? come-on, whatever the reason there’s a measles outbreak, being an anti-vaxer is dangerous bordering on criminal
