Morality and economy

Answers to tweets from a deleted account.

I wish we could say the same for Branko Milanovic’s system in economics. “personal morality exists only outside economics or capitalism”

Branko is a clever guy. Former lead economist in the World Bank’s research department. He wants to be with the king, and with the pleb. With Byz and against Byz. With personal morality (keep it at home) and without morality (in Bank). With Taleb’s system and without.

Research in christian values & economics show the same thing: pick any region w/ the worst conditions. Replace the inhabitants with English Puritans from the Victorian era and… boom! You’ll have a thriving economy. Why? Because personal morality drives the strongest economy.

Let’s change the framing. The issue here is the law. There are 2 schools of thought “legal = moral” (positivist) and the “unwritten laws of divine quality” (Antigone) translated as “natural laws”–> Enlightenment–> French & American revolution –> declaration of human rights.

You know, Antigone is not just for intellectual curiosity. It’s foundational in any decent Introduction to Law. It’s the rebellion against “legal positivism” (dominating modern EU & old dictatorships). It’s not just a philosophical battle, it’s a legal one! Dalloz, 2017 edition.

On buddhism

Cool hipsters are into buddhism nowadays. They can’t accept faith, sin, judgement & approach spirituality as soft liberalism.

Again, illiteracy is the main component. Buddha was MORE strict than Jesus. The Buddhist Code has fitting definition of the Worthless Man. Total irony.

I was also inspired to write this by big corporations. Sergey Brin (Google) said he’s into Buddhism. And then celebrated the legalisation of marihuana. One of Five Precepts is to abstain from drugs & drinks. There are only 5 rules, not even 10 like Moses, and they have no clue.

On child abuse

What’s the most evil thing you can do to a child?
1/ THREAD
– sexually violate
– sexually violate on camera (child pornography)
– sexually violate on camera + distribute the material

or
– ask them “are you sure you’re a boy or girl?” and f*ck up w/ their psychology for decades

2/ While atheism & progressivism dominate education & public sphere:
– child pornography arrests increased 2500 % in a decade.
– 2/3 of sex offenders in US state prisons committed offenses against children
– child molesters become heroes of the left

3/ National Center for Missing and Exploited Children reports: “at least 100,000 American children a year are victimized through child sexual exploitation.” More children than the number of people who die from car accidents & illegal drugs COMBINED.

4/ Paideia (Παιδεία) the most sacred greek word for MORAL & CIVIL EDUCATION. It is – and should be – focused on one thing: child (παιδί, paidi).

5/ @nntaleb raised the issue of child exploitation by liberals. In a discussion, back then, I expressed my skepticism against the term pedophrasty (pedo + phrasis). In linguistics “talking about children” should NOT have by itself a negative connotation.

6/ Lets agree that Pedophrasty is “exploiting the suffering of children in public narrative” & OPPOSITE of Paideia “the art of moral & civil education [of children]”. Lets agree that CHILDREN and their future is the MOST SIGNIFICANT DISCUSSION for a civil society.

7/ RAINN (the US nation’s largest anti-sexual violence organization) reports “the prevalence of child sexual abuse is often not reported.” estimating that out of every 100 sexual assaults, only 31 are reported to police. If you have the stomach, take a look at the numbers:

8/ The 3 elements of child abuse:
1. extensive use of SOCIAL MEDIA
2. SLIPPERY SLOPE to younger & younger victims
3. average serial child molester will have as many as 400 victims!

9/ Liberals: traditional family is a form of suppression by the patriarchy
Research: Solid family structure is the most important protector against child abuse. Children who live w/ a single parent that has a live-in partner are at the highest risk (Sedlack, et. al., 2010)

10/ How do media report on the issue? In the first page of google News for “pedophilia”, the top articles have an attitude for “understanding” the “suffering” of pedophiles who are stigmatised.

11/ How does Wiki dictionary reports on the issue? “Many psychologists recommend against using the term pedophilia …”

12/ How do prominent scientists report on the issue? Richard Dawkins Defends ‘Mild’ Pedophilia, Again and Again

13/ How does the future look like? In UK, the pedophilia problem is so bad that the police announced, this year, they would no longer be charging pedophiles whose only crime is child pornography. They would instead be sent to rehabilitation.

14/ The game remains the same: Rome vs. Byz. Theodosius was named as “the Great” by Byzantines, and “fanatic” by modern illiterates. Christian moral code & family values prevailed because Theodosius “cleaned up” the ancient Roman world. We slide back to pre-Theodosius era.

15/ Herodotus, considered as the Father of History, condemns pederasty & self-criticises this culture. Plato’s writings devalue & condemn sexual intercourse with boys. That’s partly why Christians adopted Greek philosophy, in times of Roman degeneration & greek illiteracy.

16/ Extra Note: Pederasty is prominent in hedonistic cultures. Parading hedonistic/sensual vices were always part of the tyranny scheme. This is how Aristotle would evaluate the modern banking-sponsored LGBT parades. A tyrant “parades his [sexual] vices” (Politics, book 5)

Gender dysphoria

– Attempted suicide rate in trans people is ~40%
– The “experts” claimed it’s “gender dysphoria” due of conservative & religious social beliefs

However…. atheism is rising. Progressivism is rising. LGBT is rising. Then why gender dysphoria is RAPIDLY RISING?

There is NOT A SINGLE ONE public figure stigmatising LGTB or Trans people. e.g. “Gender fluidity is fascinating to me. Every time someone says you’ve got to learn words like cisgender or trans, or when someone asks me to refer to “thee” or “thou” I get so excited” ~ E. Thompson

See a pattern here?

Liberals of Social Justice demand the removal of amendments from the Constitution, the foundation of JUSTICE.
Liberals against Racism, all day promoting only one thing: racial segregation.
Against “gender dysphoria” causing the INCREASE of such dysphoria.

The problem with “belief in science”

“I believe in science” A mental level of 5-year olds is spreading among the elites. PhD holders, academic authors, and google executives “believe in science”, have as higher purpose in life to “be kind” and think about “world peace”. The poopoos of intellectualism.

Al Jazeera is based in Qatar, with a Constitution on Sharia law (including flogging and stoning). Here, AJ+ dances with the liberal songs, promoting a summit (made by bankers, google etc.) w/ a Hollywood star against “people who don’t believe in science”.

Plato, the Bible & the Enlightenment have all something in common: they revisit the belief in God & divine as source of wisdom and explicitly teach SKEPTICISM in human nature & the profane (source of sin). René Descartes didn’t “believe” in the science of his time.

According to Google trends, the phrase “believe in science” appeared in spikes, and was recently normalised, picked in 2017.

On Georges Soros and Macedonia

Helene Ahrweiler is a prof of history, the first woman to become Principal in the 700-year history of Sorbonne, Paris. In her book Μια ζωή χωρίς άλλοθι (A life without an alibi) she mentioned #Macedonia as a project of George Soros. It is a region “bought by Soros” she writes.

It’s not a secret that George Soros financed NGOs & politicians related to the “Macedonian” cause. On his twitter account, he literally celebrates. Nothing secret here. He openly uses power & influence to change the narrative of Greek History & destabilise northern greek borders.

Now take a closer look on the map that Soros shows on twitter & his NYT article. It’s a map of the SuperNational dream of the “Great Macedonia”, a project of the “Macedonian nation” to take over N. Greece. #Macedonia is a linguistic scam made by marxists, taken over by Soros.

Apparently I missed a clue today. Kudos to @promulgatus A tearful article of #Macedonia propaganda circulated today by a lecturer of Westminster Uni, founded by George Cayley. It’s not only the website promoting Soros. Guess who is donating to the Uni?

So, there is a “Macedonia Human Rights Movement”. The Soros boys found the gift that keeps on giving: Human Rights. It’s a matter of Human Rights the freedom to steal, scam, manipulate & lie. Take a look at the MHRMI logo. Again, the same Soros map including Northern Greece.

Tsipras’ gvment body promoted 90 individuals from 2015 (ministers, deputy-ministers etc.) 50 of whom come directly from Communist Parties. Among the rest, 22 w/ similar background. Source The non-Greek Macedonia is a traditional communist indoctrination.

So in Greece the hardcore Communist Party has indoctrinated prominent members of the Conservatives! And journalists / editors in the most widespread CONSERVATIVE journal!

On European Law and Christian persecution

The French Christmas tradition: religious persecution. Now it has become a legally-binding European obligation. Example: today the city of Béziers is – again – legally persecuted, this time by the State, for placing a Christmas crib in public space.

According to European Court of Human Rights relig. symbols like Christmas cribs are FORBIDDEN to be used by public agents in public spaces of ALL European countries, based on art. 9 of European Convention for Human Rights. Eradicating western christianity is a “human right”

It’s about public agents, not everybody. It’s about religion and state separation.

The game is rigged and dishonest. The point is this: when Greeks or Italians enter EU, do they know that celebrating Christmas in schools is actually illegal against the treaty of human rights? No. Nobody told them. It’s a surprise they’re going to find out in the future.

Christian persecution under European treaty of human rights.

EU has created a Daedalus of legal complexity almost incomprehensible to the average voter. I’ll create a short review here.

2/ The Council of Europe (not EU), founded in 1949, consists of 47 member States that have signed the The European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR). This international treaty is legally binding (“direct effects”) to all members, enforced by The European Court of Human Rights.

3/ This should not be confused with the “indirect effects” of the EU directives by the European Union that have to be harmonised in State laws. ECHR = Direct Effects are Legally Binding (milestone decision: Van Gend en Loos )

4/ The geniuses named “European Court of Human Rights” also as ECHR, …the same short-name with the treaty (!). And as if the confusion is not enough, they named the European Council or Council of the European Union to be confused with Council of Europe. A babel of terminology.

5/ Anyway, according to The European Court, in many of its decisions, the article 9 of the Convention is translated as a ban of public officials (including teachers) to use ANY religious or “philosophical” (sic) symbols. Example: Aktas c/France, 30 juin 2009, req. n°43563/08

6/ Now, the term “law” is used by ECHR with the same value as “jurisprudence”. This means that ALL decisions of the European Court are LEGALLY-BINDING to ALL 47 countries or else…. the country is condemned (including Turkey that was condemned)

7/ Now, while France is CONDEMNED by many decisions (based on article 9) this is NOT applied to other EU countries. Why? The European Court invents many BS excuses to buy time.

8/ The inconsistencies of law are labeled “doctrine”. The most notable doctrine by Eur. Court is the “Margin of appreciation: Italy can keep their crosses in schools – for now – since those religious symbols are judged to be “essentially passive”, not “active”. BS to buy time.

9/ The history of separation of State and Religion (started in US) was NOT removing christianity from public space. It was a western effort for independence from the Cardinals of religion (the middlemen of God) while teaching the Bible in schools.

10/ French Revolutionaries didn’t revolt against the “King”. This is a naive cartoonish version of history. The King had no virtual power, that’s why he couldn’t do any reforms, although he tried. Reforms were blocked by the “higher court” of Paris (Parlement de Paris).

11/ French revolutionaries were mostly LAWYERS (like Robespierre) revolting against the Higher Court of Paris. Robespierre famously said: “Le mot jurisprudence doit être effacé de notre langue” “The word “jurisprudence” [higher court decisions] should be banned from language”

12/ The idea of Nation/Nationalism (article III of the Declaration of Human Rights, 1789) was to REPLACE the Higher Courts with a legislative power, elected by the nation. Today, as Édouard Lambert has said, we go back to the “gouvernement des juges” (government of juges).

13/ There are countless cases in France (and other countries) that the representatives (of the Nation) vote for one thing, and the European Courts reject the new laws as “against the international convention”. The Nations are loosing their legislative power to Courts.

14 / If I go to Saudi Arabia and claim Christianity & Islam are “equal” under the law, this means one thing: persecution of Islam, suppression of islamic heritage from public space. The same when “equality” is applied to a christian nation. Only through christ. persecution.

The working of modern BS

There is a need for new books. Not about Byzantium or Greeks vs. Romans, this has been extensively researched.
We need scholar research on how BS vendors mask themselves as BS hunters. How naive models are masked as complexity science. How parroting makes new academic fields.

It’s a serious issue concerning the future of academic research. A vicious cycle of naive old models → BS venting → BS hunting → naive new models. And all this simplicity in thinking is masked, now, as “complexity science”. The same way Injustice is packed as Social Justice.

Another element is how implicit intimidation works in scientific groups (mob dynamics & peer pressure) excluding criticism. We need to understand how eugenics once spread in most EU countries, how communist science spread, and how uncritical “complex science” may spread as well.

If we study these dynamics, a strange pattern emerges. Religiously inclined scholars become the strongest opposition against scientific BS. When eugenics was a serious trend, Pope Pius XI explicitly condemned sterilization laws. The Pope, yes the Pope, was the hero in this story.

Another detail, revealing the complexity of ethics, science & reason, is that The Fascist government in Italy abstained from copying Germany’s “scientific” racial & anti-Semitic laws until 1938, while Pope Pius XI publicly asked to abstain from adopting racist legislation.

Another Pope, Pius XII condemned eugenics in scientific conferences, but also pioneered in promoting scientific breakthroughs e.g. Big Bang (cosmic egg) proposed by Lemaître (1894-1966), a Belgian priest who dared to criticise & “correct” Einstein’s model of static universe.

From the examples above, we reach an unfortunate conclusion. It might be more easy to criticise Einstein or even the Pope (often Catholics do that in a sophisticated environment of respect) than it is to criticise the infallible Popes of science cults, and their fan clubs.

Comments
If you go to any major airport in EU or US you’ll see the same collection of best sellers. If you notice most of them try to do the same thing, to redefine truth, to break the myths, to break the old naive “BS models”. And to do so, they create new naive models. It’s a trend.

Explanations on Byzantines

1 / “Rome vs. Greek” complexity of Byz Empire.

Rome was like United Nations today, a title that everybody would love to appropriate. Charlemagne, King of Franks, in 800AC was crowned Emperor of Romans. The Byz King claimed he was King of Romans.

Who was the true Roman King?

2 / Keep in mind that:
– phrase “Byzantine Empire” didn’t exist
– word Rome is actually greek. From Ρώμη (power)
– Greeks never called themselves Greeks
– Byz called themselves Ῥωμηοί (modern greek national symbol) with 20+ nationalities in a central culture. Complex enough?

3 / Imagine this scenario: a Byz emperor writes a letter in greek, the official language of Byz empire, claiming the true Roman identity of his title. Now imagine a Frank cardinal or Pope answers in LATIN, from the CAPITAL of OLD ROME. What would his identity be? Chinese?

4 / Of course the Pope would answer: “c’mon man! you may be rich and all but you don’t even latin! I crowned my pal Charlemagne, King of Franks as Emperor of Romans & we’re visiting you soon for funny crusades, we’ll steal the sh*it out of your treasures. Kisses. The Pope.”

5 / And that’s why if you’re latin speaker you would name the Byzantine fire as “Greek fire”, not “Roman fire” (πυρ ρωμαϊκόν) as some Greek intellectuals would like you to say.

6 / Now the irony. Descendants of those who challenged the “Romanity” of Byz empire for 100s of years, in 2018 claim that actually the Byz empire was old-school Roman! Why? Stealing treasures is not enough. The rich Byz culture has to be stolen also. Big $$ geopolitics.

On Byzantine’s removal of religious education

The Pandidakterion (university in Byz era) was the first to REMOVE religious education & astrology. For comparison the Academy of Athens in 4th c. AC mixed magic & philosophy. So the Byz higher education wasn’t “Orthodox”, it was more Platonic w/ philosophy, math, law & medicine.

It was founded by Emperor Theodosius II in 425 AC, and since then it was under the sponsorship of the Emperors. Education was free, no cost. Cyrus of Panopolis, epic poet, philosopher and a lover of Greek arts, played key role in its foundation.

From the beginning it never taught religious education. So, we see secular higher education being introduced in the middle of a … “theocracy”. Again we see the same in modern history. Christians (e.g. Quakers) introducing secular state in US, spreading in the rest of the west.
